This is a lovely and quite dramatic walk below the towering rocky buttresses of the Pizzo d'Intermesoli. It is very easy, depending how far you want to go. The walk commences at the ski resort of Prati di Tivo. It starts off in a beautiful cool beech wood then descends for a kilometre to a small waterfall.

You can paddle in a shallow stream before ascending towards a plateau strewn with large boulders at 1520 metres.

Continue on to another plateau at 1585 metres. The path narrows as it climbs the Val Maone with the spiky peaks of the Pizzo d'Intermesoli on your right and the slopes of the Valle dei Ginepri on your left.
