It is right on the edge of the National Park of Gran Sasso-Laga and is only a hop, skip and a jump to the cable car at Fonte Cerreto that takes you up to the Campo Imperatore. From here you can choose from a huge variety of walks of varying difficulty, from gentle strolls to Via Ferrata, scrambles and difficult routes for real experts.
