The fact that Abruzzo is such an undiscovered area means that you will very rarely cross paths with other walkers, except on the most popular routes.
The villa is on the edge of the National Park.
Villa Mandorla is on the edge of the beautiful National Park of Gran-Sasso Laga. Whatever your level of fitness or your desire for adventure, there are plenty of walking routes in the area to meet your needs and inspire you.


Villa Mandorla is about 35 minutes from the cable car at Fonte Cerreto.


The Villa is just a hop, skip and a jump to the cable car at Fonte Cerreto that takes you up to the Campo Imperatore. From here you can choose from a huge variety of walks of varying difficulty, from gentle strolls to Via Ferrata, scrambles and difficult routes for real experts.

The walks are well marked and there is a range of ideas for walks in the Villa.

After a hard day's hiking, climbing or rambling, come back to the Villa and cool down in the pool or warm up in the hydromassage shower, then sit on the terrazza panoramica and watch the sun set behind the mountains.
