Pines on Pineto beach.
Pineto is a lovely seaside resort on the Adriatic coast. A magnificent pine forest lines the beach for more than 3 kilometres and extends into the surrounding hills which are covered with vines and old olive trees.

The commune is famous for the Cerrano Tower, an ancient watchtower, which is now a marine biology observatory.
